تراجعت العقود الآجلة للنفط الخام الأميركي بأكثر من 2% في التعاملات الآسيوية المبكرة، بعد إعلان الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب تعليق هجوم كان من المقرر شنّه على إيران وذلك لإتاحة الفرصة لإجراء مفاوضات لإنهاء الحرب.

وانخفض عقد تموز الأكثر نشاطا لخام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأميركي بمقدار 2.08 دولار أو 2.02 % إلى 102.34 دولار للبرميل، في حين تراجع عقد شهر أقرب استحقاق 1.54 دولار أو 1.42 % إلى 107.12 دولارات، بعد أن ارتفع بأكثر من 3.1 % في الجلسة السابقة.
