رحّبت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بالاتفاق الذي تم التوصل إليه لوقف إطلاق النار بين جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية وأفغانستان إثر المفاوضات التي جرت في الدوحة، والذي أفضى لإيجاد آليات ترسخ الأمن والاستقرار بشكل مستدام بين البلدين.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة فؤاد المجالي دعم المملكة وتأييدها للجهود المبذولة في سبيل إحلال الأمن والاستقرار في المناطق الحدودية بين البلدين، مشيدًا بجهود الوساطة التي بذلتها دولة قطر والجمهورية التركية الشقيقتين.
