زار سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني، ولي العهد، اليوم الاثنين، مديرية دفاع مدني العقبة، والتقى عدداَ من مرتبات الدفاع المدني العاملين فيها.

واستمع سموه إلى إيجاز قدمه مدير دفاع مدني العقبة المقدم محمد المجالي، عن طبيعة الواجبات والخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين والزوار.

وأعرب سمو ولي العهد عن اعتزازه وافتخاره بالمستوى المتميز الذي وصلت إليه كوادر الدفاع المدني إعدادا وتأهيلا وأداء ميدانيا.

كما أكد سموه أن التمرين التعبوي الذي نفذه جهاز الدفاع المدني أخيراً في العقبة بالتعاون مع المؤسسات العسكرية والمدنية المختصة يساهم في رفع مستوى الكفاءة والاستعداد والتشاركية والتي دائما يؤكد عليها جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني، القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة.
