دانت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين استهداف ميليشيا الحوثي مدينة الرياض بصاروخ باليستي نجحت قوات الدفاع الجوي السعودية باعتراضه وتدميره، ومحاولة الميليشيا استهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية بمدن بيش والطائف وفرسان وينبع في المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة؛ في انتهاك سافر لسيادة السعودية، وتهديد لأمنها واستقرارها وسلامة أراضيها، وخرق صارخ للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير فؤاد المجالي تضامنَ الأردن المطلق مع السعودية الشقيقة، ووقوفَه معها في كلّ ما تتخذه من خطوات لحماية أمنها واستقرارها ومقدّراتها وسلامة مواطنيها والمُقيمين فيها.
