قالت ثلاثة مصادر مطلعة إن رئيس جهاز الموساد الإسرائيلي رومان جوفمان أجرى مكالمة هاتفية مع وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني الأسبوع الماضي، ناقشا خلالها الوجود العسكري التركي في سوريا.

جاءت المكالمة، التي قالت المصادر إنها جرت في 14 أغسطس آب، أي قبل أيام من شن إسرائيل غارات جوية على قاعدة جوية عسكرية سورية في شمال البلاد أمس الثلاثاء.

ويمثل هذا الاتصال أحد أعلى مستويات التواصل حتى الآن بين إسرائيل والحكومة السورية الجديدة منذ سقوط بشار الأسد في ديسمبر كانون الأول 2014.

ولم يرد مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، الذي يتولى الرد على الاستفسارات المتعلقة بالموساد، بعد على طلب للتعليق، كما لم يرد متحدث باسم الشيباني.
