قال رئيس أركان جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إيال زامير الأربعاء خلال تفقده قواته في منطقة أمنية تحتلها إسرائيل في جنوب سوريا، إن الجيش لن يسمح بـ"ترسيخ" التهديدات على الحدود.

وتوجه زامير إلى جنوده قائلا "نحن نراقب التغيرات على الجبهة السورية، ولن نسمح لقوات معادية بأن تُرسخ وجودها على حدودنا، وسنعرف كيف نستخدم قدراتنا العملياتية بدقة في الزمان والمكان المناسبين".

وكانت إسرائيل قصفت الثلاثاء قاعدة في شمال غرب سوريا، متهمة دمشق بانتهاك اتفاق من خلال السماح بوجود قوات تركية فيها، في خطوة أثارت إدانة كل من الولايات المتحدة وتركيا.
