ردّ قاض فدرالي أميركي، الخميس، دعوى رفعتها إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترامب ضد جامعة هارفارد متهمة إياها بالسماح بسلوكيات معادية لليهود خلال تظاهرات مؤيدة للفلسطينيين في حرمها بعد 7 تشرين الأول 2023.

ورأى قاضي بوسطن ريتشارد ستيرنز أن دعوى الحكومة لا تتضمن ما يثبت مخالفة جامعة هارفارد مادة في قانون الحقوق المدنية تحظر التمييز على أساس العِرق أو الجنسية أو غيرها من المعايير.

وقال إن الدعوى التي رفعتها إدارة ترامب في مارس آذار لم تثبت بشكل مقنع وجود انتهاك مستمر لقانون الحقوق المدنية الاتحادي داخل حرم جامعة هارفارد.
