ارتفعت أسعار الذهب إلى أعلى مستوياتها في تسعة أسابيع اليوم الاثنين بدفعة من الزخم الشرائي القوي ومخاوف تفويت فرصة الاستفادة من الصعود، بينما يترقب المستثمرون بيانات التضخم المهمة في الولايات المتحدة لتقييم تحركات السياسة النقدية لمجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأمريكي).

وزاد الذهب في ‌المعاملات الفورية 0.8 بالمئة إلى 4376.56 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 1845 بتوقيت جرينتش. وبلغ المعدن النفيس أعلى مستوياته منذ الخامس من يونيو حزيران في وقت سابق من الجلسة. وارتفع الذهب 2.4 بالمئة يوم الجمعة بعد صدور بيانات ضعيفة للوظائف غير الزراعية الأمريكية.
