أعلن مكتب التحقيقات الاتحادي الأمريكي (FBI)، الخميس، أن السلطات صادرت أكثر من 700 طائرة مسيّرة منذ انطلاق نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم في 11 يونيو/حزيران، بعد رصدها داخل مناطق حظر الطيران المحيطة بالملاعب ومناطق تجمع المشجعين.

وأوضح المكتب أن تشغيل جميع الطائرات، بما فيها المسيّرات، محظور في أيام المباريات ضمن دائرة يبلغ نصف قطرها ثلاثة أميال بحرية وعلى ارتفاع يصل إلى 914 مترا فوق سطح الأرض حول الملاعب، ما لم يحصل المشغل على تصريح مسبق من سلطات مراقبة الحركة الجوية.

وأشار مكتب التحقيقات الاتحادي إلى أن الطائرات المسيّرة المصادرة رُصدت في جميع المدن الأمريكية الإحدى عشرة المستضيفة لمنافسات البطولة، مؤكدا استمرار تطبيق الإجراءات الأمنية الصارمة لضمان سلامة الجماهير والفرق المشاركة.
