رفض قاض اتحادي اليوم الاثنين طلب إيلون ماسك إلغاء حكم هيئة محلفين قضى بأن أغنى رجل في العالم خدع مستثمري تويتر من خلال محاولته خفض سعر سهم الشركة بعد موافقته على صفقة استحواذ قيمتها 44 مليار ‌دولار.

غير أن قاضي المحكمة الجزئية الأمريكية تشارلز براير في سان فرانسيسكو برأ ماسك من المسؤولية عن إحدى تغريداته محل النزاع.

وكتب براير "حتى لو غير المتحدث رأيه أو شعر بندم مؤقت بشأن صفقة ما، فإن هذه المخاوف لا تبرر الكذب على المستثمرين".
