أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأميركية (سنتكوم) الخميس، أن القوات الأميركية هاجمت ناقلة نفط تجارية ثالثة هذا الأسبوع وعطلتها، بعدما حاولت انتهاك الحصار المفروض على الموانئ الإيرانية، مضيفة أن هذا الهجوم هو التاسع منذ بدء الحصار.

وقالت سنتكوم إن القوات الأميركية "اعترضت ناقلة النفط +جالفير+ التي ترفع علم غينيا بيساو أثناء محاولتها نقل النفط من إيران عبر خليج عُمان".

وأوضحت أن "طائرة أميركية أطلقت صاروخين من طراز هيلفاير على غرفة محركات السفينة بعدما رفض طاقمها مرارا الامتثال لأوامر القوات الأميركية".
