قالت وزارة الخارجية الهندية الأربعاء، إن ثلاثة بحارة من الهند لا يزالون في عداد المفقودين بعد إنقاذ 21 بحارا آخرين؛ عقب هجوم على ناقلة النفط التي كانوا على متنها قبالة سواحل سلطنة عُمان.

وذكرت الوزارة في بيان "نندد بالهجوم الذي استهدف السفينة التجارية سيتيبيلو قبالة سواحل عُمان في وقت سابق اليوم".

وأضاف "تراقب سفارتنا في عُمان الوضع من كثب، وتنسق بصورة استباقية مع السلطات العمانية في عملية البحث والإنقاذ الجارية".

وقال مسؤولون، إن ناقلة المنتجات النفطية تعرضت لهجوم صاروخي يُشتبه في أنه هجوم أميركي.
