تلقّى نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي مساء أمس اتصالاً هاتفيًّا من رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية في دولة قطر الشقيقة الشيخ محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني.

وبحث الوزيران سبل دعم علاقات التعاون بين المملكة وقطر والأوضاع الإقليمية، واستعرضا جهود الوساطة الباكستانية بين الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية.

وأكّد الصفدي والشيخ محمد استمرار تنسيق الجهود لدعم الوساطة المستهدفة إنهاء التصعيد في المنطقة واستعادة الأمن والاستقرار.

وأكّد الوزيران ضرورة تكاتف الجهود لإنجاح جهود الوساطة للتوصل إلى حل مستدام يعالج كل جذور الأزمة ويحول دون تجدّد التصعيد.
