الذهب يستقر قبيل قمة بكين

استقرت أسعار الذهب في بداية التعاملات الآسيوية الأربعاء، إذ يترقب المستثمرون قمة أميركية صينية مهمة في بكين، مع متابعة التطورات بشأن الصراع في الشرق الأوسط.

وبقي الذهب في المعاملات الفورية دون تغير يذكر عند 4713.39 دولارا للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 0100 بتوقيت غرينتش. وارتفعت العقود الآجلة الأميركية للذهب تسليم حزيران 0.7% إلى 4721.80 دولارا.

وقال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الثلاثاء إنه لا يعتقد أنه سيحتاج إلى مساعدة الصين لإنهاء الحرب مع إيران، حتى مع تضاؤل الآمال في التوصل إلى اتفاق دائم وتشديد طهران قبضتها على مضيق هرمز.

وذكر وزير الخزانة الأميركي سكوت بيسنت أن ترامب ونظيره الصيني شي جين بينغ سيتناقشان بِشأن حرب إيران، وحث الصين على "الانضمام إلينا في هذه العملية الدولية" لفتح مضيق هرمز أمام الملاحة الدولية.
