دان الأردن حادثة اختطاف ناقلة نفط من المياه الإقليمية اليمنية واقتيادها إلى المياه الإقليمية الصومالية، وعلى متنها عدد من البحارة المصريين، واصفا الحادث بأنه انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي وتهديد خطير لأمن الملاحة البحرية وحركة التجارة الدولية.

وأكدت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين في بيان تضامن المملكة الكامل مع مصر وذوي البحارة المختطفين، مشددة على ضرورة ضمان سلامتهم والعمل على الإفراج عنهم.
