استقرت أسعار النفط، اليوم الأربعاء، مع بقاء المستثمرين حذرين قبيل قرار مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأميركي) بشأن سعر الفائدة.

وبحسب وكالة بلومبيرغ، ارتفعت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 12 سنتًا، أو 0.16 بالمئة، إلى 73.31 دولار للبرميل.

كما صعد خام غرب تكساس، الوسيط الأميركي، 11 سنتًا، أو 0.16 بالمئة، إلى 70.19 دولار للبرميل.

وفي السياق قالت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة اليوم، إن الطلب العالمي على الفحم أعلى من أى وقت مضى، ومن المتوقع أن يرتفع إلى 77ر8 مليار طن في 2024.

وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن الطلب على الفحم سيظل مستقرًا نسبيًا حتى نهاية 2027، حيث إن مصادر الطاقة المتجددة تلعب دورًا أكبر في توليد الطاقة، وتراجع مستويات استهلاك الفحم في الصين.
