توج فريق كفرنجة بلقب بطولة تحت 16 عاماً لكرة اليد، بعدما فاز على نظيره النصر بنتيجة 27-25 في المباراة الختامية التي أقيمت في قاعة مدينة الحسن الرياضية في إربد، بحضور رئيس الاتحاد الدكتور تيسير المنسي، وأعضاء الاتحاد، ورؤساء الأندية، وجمهور كبير.

وفي المباراة التي سبقتها، فاز فريق العربي على فريق الكتة بنتيجة 24-20.

ومع ختام منافسات البطولة، تصدر فريق كفرنجة الترتيب العام برصيد 8 نقاط، وهو الرصيد ذاته لفريق العربي، بيد أن فارق المواجهات بين الفريقين ذهب لمصلحة كفرنجة. وجاء فريق النصر في المركز الثالث برصيد 7 نقاط، تلاه في المركز الرابع فريق الكتة برصيد نقطة واحدة.

وعقب المباراة الختامية، تناوب رئيس الاتحاد وكبار الحضور على تتويج الفرق الفائزة بالمراكز الأولى.
