ذكرت وسائل إعلام، اليوم الأحد، نقلا عن الشرطة أن ثمانية أطفال قتلوا في واقعة إطلاق نار عشوائي في مدينة شريفبورت بولاية لويزيانا الأمريكية.

وقال كريستوفر بورديلون، المتحدث باسم شرطة شريفبورت، لشبكة (إن.بي.سي) إن أعمار الأطفال الذين لقوا حتفهم في الواقعة تتراوح بين عام و14 عاما. وأضاف بورديلون لإن.بي.سي إن الشخص الذي يُعتقد بأنه مطلق النار خطف سيارة بعد إطلاق النار ولقي حتفه بعد أن أطلقت الشرطة النار على السيارة في أثناء مطاردتها.

ولم تكشف الشرطة عن أي معلومات بشأن هذا الشخص، لكن بورديلون ذكر لإن.بي.سي أن بعض الأطفال القتلى “من نسله”.
