انتقل إلى رحمة الله الإقتصادي والوزير والعين جواد حديد , والذي فقد المجتمع الإقتصادي بوفاته شخصية مرموقة في مجتمع المال والأعمال .

وكان للفقيد المرحوم بإذن الله دورا أساسيا في تأسيس أربعة بنوك ناجحة في الأردن والخليج العربي وتولى منصب المدير العام في ثلاثة منها.

وشغل حديد مناصب عدة رفيعة منها وزيرا للتخطيط بين عامي 2000-2001 وعضوا في مجلس الأعيان لدورات عدة وكان شغل مواقع كثيرة منها نائبا لرئيس مجلس إدارة ومدير عام بنك المؤسسة العربيةالمصرفية –الاردن .ومديرا عاما لوحدة الضمانات البنكية في الشركة العربية للاستثمار في البحرين .وعضوا في الهيئة الاستشارية لجامعة الحسين وكلية الأميرة سمية الجامعية .وعضو ومديرا عاما في 13 شركة مالية واستشارية داخل وخارج الأردن ومستشارا مصرفيا لمجلس إدارة البنك التجاري الأردني وعضوا في مجلس إدارة البنك التجاري الأردني

كما تولى منصب رئيس ومؤسس هيئة الاستثمار لأموال الضمان الاجتماعي الأردني ومؤسسا لوحدتها الاستثمارية وعضوا في مجلس الأمناء / جامعة الحسين – معان وعضوا في مجلس الأمناء / الجامعة العربية الدولية / دمشق ومحافظا لدى البنك الدولي.
