بقعة شمسية عملاقة تهدد الاتصالات على الأرض

ظهرت بقعة عملاقة على سطح الشمس تواجه الأرض مباشرة، أثارت مخاوف مما يمكن أن تسببه من آثار سلبية على كوكبنا.

وقدرت إدارة الفضاء الأميركية (ناسا) عرض البقعة بنحو 120 ألف كيلومترا، ما يسمح برؤيتها بشكل واضح من كوكب الأرض.

وحسب صحيفة "ديلي ميل" البريطانية، حذر خبراء الفضاء من البقعة الكبيرة بدرجة كافية لإنتاج وهج شمسي من النوع "إم"، يمكن أن يؤدي إلى الإضرار بموجات الراديو واتصالات الأقمار الصناعية والتسبب بعواصف إشعاعية.

ولاحظ مرصد تابع لـ"ناسا" يختص بمراقبة الشمس، وجود البقعة الأسبوع الماضي.

وتظهر البقع الشمسية بشكل متكرر على الشمس وتبدو بلون أكثر دكانة، وهي مناطق من المجالات المغناطيسية المكثفة والمعقدة، وعندما تتحرر طاقتها تتسبب بوهج شمسي ضخم يمكن أن يؤثر على الأرض.
