لندن - رويترز - قال نادي ليفربول الذي ينافس في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز لكرة القدم أمس السبت إنه تعاقد مع جو جوميز مدافع نادي تشارلتون اثليتيك والمنتخب الإنجليزي تحت 19 عاما بعقد طويل المدى.
وبحسب وسائل إعلام بريطانية فإن جوميز (18 عاما) وقع مع ليفربول عقدا مدته خمسة أعوام مقابل 3.5 مليون جنيه إسترليني (نحو 5.56 مليون دولار).
ولعب جوميز 24 مباراة مع تشارلتون في دوري القسم الثاني الانجليزي في الموسم الماضي.
وقال اللاعب الدولي لموقع ليفربول على الانترنت «طريقة اللعب ومجموعة اللاعبين الكبار الموجودين هنا في مكان كنت أريد الذهاب إليه بهدف التعلم والتطور.»
وجوميز هو رابع لاعب يتعاقد معه ليفربول منذ انتهاء الموسم بعد جيمس ميلنر لاعب الوسط والمهاجم داني اينجس وحارس المرمى ادم بوجدان.
