رصد - يبدو ان شركة «غوغل» تحولت الى مجال تصنيع السيارات بعد ان احتلت مركزا متقدما على الشبكة العنكبوتية.
فصرح نائب رئيس مشاريع إكس في «غوغل» سيباستيان ثرون بأنه يعمل مع الحكومة الأميركية في ولاية نيفادا للحصول على تشريعات وترخيص لسيارة «غوغل» تقود نفسها من خلال تقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي بعد أن أصبحت في مراحل مذهلة.
وسبق للبروفسور سيباستيان ثرون أن صمم سيارة دفع رباعي ذاتية القيادة، يمكن إرسالها إلى الصحراء إلى أي نقطة لتعود وفقا للتحكم عن بعد تم عرضها في متحف العلوم «سميثونيان». كما قام بتصميم سيارة أخرى وجّهها في شارع لومبارد في سان فرانسيسكو وهو شارع ضيق جدا وشديد الانحدار وعلى جانبيه بيوت متداخلة.
