قامت جمعية التمكين للنساء الجامعيات وبالتعاون مع مستودع البتراء للمواد الطبية وشركة سميث اند نيفيو البريطانية بتنسيق محاضرة طبية حول التهابات المفاصل والطرق الحديثة لعلاجها ألقاها الدكتور وائل أبو خلف استشاري جراحة العظام والمفاصل وجراحة الركبة في مقرّ الجمعية الأحد الماضي .
وبين الدكتور أبو خلف بأن التهابات المفاصل تعتبر من أكثر الأمراض انتشاراً، ويعرف هذا المرض لدى عامة الناس ب «خشونة المفصل»، وأكثر المفاصل تعرضاً للمرض هو مفصل الركبة يليه مفصل الحوض.
