تشير نتائج دراسة لباحثين من جامعة ليدز ان زنبور التين هو الحشرة، الاسرع في العالم، فقد وجد الباحثون ان هذه الحشرة قادرة على قطع مسافة 160 كيلومترا في اقل من 48 ساعة.
ويقول الباحثون ان الرقم القياسي السابق في هذا المجال لحشرة قادرة على نقل حبوب اللقاح كان بحدود عشرة كيلومترات.
