توفى أطول كلب في العالم ، وفقا لموسوعة جينيس للأرقام القياسية ، متأثرا بإصابته بسرطان العظام.
وقالت مالكة الكلب الألماني جيبسون من نوعية دوجيه في موقعها الالكتروني إنه تم تخدير جيبسون وانهاء حياته بعد أن وصل السرطان إلى رئته وانتشر في عظامه.
وكان الأطباء بتروا الساق اليمنى الأمامية لجيبسون /سبعة أعوام/ الربيع الماضي بعد اكتشاف اصابته بالسرطان. وحصل دوجلاس منذ عام 2004 على لقب أطول كلب في العالم ، إذ كان طول الكلب الأبيض اللون والذي تكسو جلده بقع سوداء ، حوالي 108 سنتيمترات.
