أعلنت وزارة الزراعة في ولاية براندنبورج، الواقعة في شرق ألمانيا، الجمعة، عن اكتشاف فيروس إنفلونزا الطيور في أوزة برية، وحثت مربي الدواجن على الالتزام الصارم بتدابير الأمن الحيوي.

وأضافت الوزارة أن الأوزة المصابة عُثر عليها في منطقة أودر-سبري التابعة للولاية.

وأدى فيروس إنفلونزا الطيور شديد العدوى إلى إعدام مئات الملايين من الطيور الداجنة في السنوات القليلة الماضية، مما أدى إلى اضطراب إمدادات الغذاء وارتفاع الأسعار. ولا تزال حالات الإصابة بين البشر نادرة.

وعادة ما تصل حالات تفشي المرض إلى ذروتها في الخريف مع توجه الطيور المهاجرة جنوبا.
