أكد نقيب أصحاب المطاعم عمر أبو عواد، أهمية التزام جميع المطاعم المصنفة "شعبية" بالأسعار الرسمية والمقررة من قبل الجهات المختصة، مشددا على أن هذه المنشآت وجدت أساسا لخدمة ذوي الدخل المحدود والمتوسط وتوفير احتياجاتهم الغذائية بأسعار عادلة ومتاحة للجميع.

وأوضح أبو عواد في تصريح صحفي لوكالة الأنباء الأردنية (بترا) اليوم الثلاثاء، أن الإعفاءات والمزايا الممنوحة للقطاع الشعبي وضعت بهدف تخفيف الأعباء المعيشية عن المواطنين، وينبغي أن ينعكس أثرها بشكل مباشر على جيب المستهلك، داعيا أصحاب المطاعم إلى ضرورة التقيد التام بالقوائم السعرية المعتمدة ووضعها في مكان بارز داخل المطعم.
