قال وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف الجمعة إنه أجرى محادثات "مرضية" مع نظيره الأميركي ماركو روبيو على هامش اجتماع وزراء خارجية مجموعة العشرين في الولايات المتحدة.

وصرح لافروف للصحافيين عقب لقائه روبيو "نعم، أجرينا حديثا مرضيا وإن كان مقتضبا، لأن لديه، لأسباب مفهومة، مهمات كثيرة بصفته المضيف".

وأثار حضور المسؤول الروسي للقمة في أتلانتا بولاية جورجيا تحفظا أوروبيا، لكنه سلط الضوء على تحسن العلاقات الأميركية الروسية.
