التقى وزير السياحة والآثار الدكتور عماد حجازين وفداً كنسياً فرنسياً رفيع المستوى، برئاسة المطران تيبو فيرني، رئيس أساقفة شامبيري ورئيس اللجنة البابوية في الفاتيكان، بمشاركة أمين عام المجلس الإقليمي للتعليم الكاثوليكي في منطقة أوفيرن-رون-ألب لوران كواريه، والمدير العام لشركة (بيبل) المتخصصة في تنظيم رحلات الحج والزيارات الدينية سيدريك بلوكيه.

وتناول اللقاء، الذي عقد في مقر الوزارة، آفاق بناء شراكات استراتيجية مع المؤسسات الكنسية ومنظمي رحلات الحج، لتعزيز حضور الأردن في السوق الفرنسي، وترسيخ مكانته على خارطة السياحة الدينية العالمية، واستقطاب مزيد من الحجاج ضمن الاحتفال بالألفية الثانية لمعمودية السيد المسيح عام 2030.
