قررت لجنة الانتخابات المركزية الإسرائيلية مساء اليوم الثلاثاء، عدم تمديد ساعات التصويت في هذه المرحلة، مشيرة إلى أنها ستجري تقييما إضافيا لاحقا.

وكانت أنباء وردت عن عزم اللجنة تمديد التصويت إلى ما بعد الساعة العاشرة مساء بالتوقيت المحلي جراء الإقبال الكثيف إلا أن اللجنة حسمت موقفها في بيان بعدم تمديد الاقتراع بعد الساعة العاشرة من مساء اليوم.
