أعلن المتحدث الرسمي باسم قوات التحالف "تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن"، اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، الثلاثاء، بأن ‏الدفاع الجوي اعترض ودمر صاروخين باليستيين أطلقتهما الميليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية باتجاه الرياض.

وأعلن الدفاع المدني السعودي، عن سقوط شظايا اعتراض صاروخين باليستيين أطلقتهما ميليشيا الحوثي من اليمن يتسبب بأضرار مادية في الرياض.

وصعد الحوثيون هجماتهم على السعودية خلال الفترة الماضية، وشملت ضربات على مطار الرياض، أسفرت إحداها عن وفاة 13 شخصا وإصابة مئات آخرين في 10 تشرين الأول، في أعنف هجوم على أراضي المملكة منذ أكثر من عشر سنوات.
