اشتعلت النيران في ناقلة نفط بعد اصطدامها بألغام في مضيق هرمز، وفق ما أفاد الجيش الإيراني الثلاثاء.

ونقلت وكالة "إرنا" الرسمية عن بيان صادر عن الجيش "(..) اصطدمت ناقلة نفط مخالفة أبطلت أنظمتها للتتبّع خلال محاولتها عبور منطقة محظورة وخطيرة في شرق مضيق هرمز بألغام، ما أسفر عن أضرار وحريق".

وقيّدت إيران حركة الملاحة في هذا المضيق الحيوي لإمدادات الطاقة العالمية، منذ بدء الحرب في الشرق الأوسط بضربات أميركية إسرائيلية عليها في 28 شباط.

في المقابل، فرضت واشنطن حصارا على موانئ إيران.

وأصبحت الملاحة في المضيق والتحكم بها إحدى نقاط التجاذب الأساسية بين طهران وواشنطن.

ومنذ بداية الحرب، استهدفت إيران مرارا سفنا حاولت عبور مضيق هرمز من دون الحصول على إذن منها.
