أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية، الجمعة، محاولة تسلّل 4 أشخاص عبر إحدى الواجهات الحدودية، بعد رصدهم من قبل قوات حرس الحدود في أثناء محاولتهم اجتياز الحدود بطريقة غير مشروعة.

وقالت القوات المسلحة الأردنية إنّ قوات حرس الحدود تعاملت مع المتسللين وفق قواعد الاشتباك المعمول بها، وتمكنت من إلقاء القبض عليهم من دون السماح لهم باجتياز الحدود، قبل تحويلهم إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.

وأكّدت القوات المسلحة أن وحدات حرس الحدود تواصل أداء واجبها في حماية حدود المملكة والتصدي لمحاولات التسلل والأنشطة غير المشروعة.
