أكد الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، ثوابت السياسة الخارجية المصرية في دعم أمن واستقرار دول الخليج العربي، وضرورة الحفاظ على حرية الملاحة في الممرات البحرية وفقاً للقانون الدولي، مشيراً إلى أن مصر خسرت نحو 20

مليار دولار من عوائد قناة السويس خلال السنوات الأخيرة نتيجة حالة عدم الاستقرار في المنطقة.

وشدد السيسي على أن القضية الفلسطينية تظل القضية المركزية في الشرق الأوسط، وأن حل الدولتين يمثل السبيل لتحقيق السلام والاستقرار الدائمين في المنطقة.

جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع عقده السيسي اليوم الثلاثاء، بمقر القيادة الاستراتيجية في العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة، بحضور رئيس مجلس الوزراء مصطفى مدبولي، والوزراء والمحافظين، وعدد من كبار المسؤولين وقادة القوات المسلحة والشرطة المدنية.
