قرر مدعي عام عمان، توقيف الشخص الذي سمح لكلبيه، نهش قطة في الشارع العام، وظهر في فيديو جرى تداوله بشكل واسع، لمدة أسبوع، في أحد مراكز الإصلاح والتأهيل.

وأسند المدعي العام للمتهم عدة جنح، نشر أو إعادة نشر محتوى غير قانوني، أو أخبار زائفة، باستخدام الشبكة المعلوماتية، أو منصة تواصل اجتماعي، وفقاً لأحكام المادة (21) من قانون الجرائم الألكترونية، وجنحة قتل حيوان قصداً، وفقاً لأحكام المادة (452) من قانون العقوبات، وحنحة التصرف في محل عام ،يحدث أخلالاً بالطمأنينة العامة، خلافاً لأحكام المادة (390/1) من قانون العقوبات، والسكر المقرون بالشغب، وفقاً لأحكام المادة (390/2) من قانون العقوبات
