وصل الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ إلى الولايات المتحدة، الأربعاء، قبيل قمة مرتقبة مع الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، حيث استقبله ترامب وقرينته في قاعدة أندروز المشتركة خارج واشنطن.

وقال شي إنه يتطلع إلى مناقشة «الوضع العالمي» مع ترامب، مؤكداً أن الصين والولايات المتحدة يجب أن تكونا «شريكتين لا خصمين».

ويأتي استقبال ترامب للرئيس الصيني في قاعدة أندروز بدلاً من مقر الإقامة الرئاسي، في إطار مراسم رسمية رفيعة المستوى، خلال أول زيارة دولة يجريها شي إلى العاصمة الأميركية منذ أكثر من عقد.
