قامت بلدية المفرق الكبرى بتركيب أنظمة للطاقة الشمسية على عدد من المباني التابعة لها بهدف التخفيف من كلف فواتير الكهرباء الشهرية.

وقال رئيس لجنة البلدية الدكتور محمد خلف الفايز لوكالة الأنباء الأردنية (بترا) اليوم الثلاثاء، إن هذا المشروع تم من خلال منحة مالية بقيمة 185 ألف دينار من احدى المنظمات، لافتا الى انه تم تركيب أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية على مبنى البلدية القديم وقاعة نشاطات البلدية ومكتبة الناشئين إضافة إلى مبنى منطقة إيدون وديوان الحي الجنوبي والسوق المركزي في وسط مدينة المفرق.

وأضاف إن هذا المشروع سيساهم في انخفاض كلفة فاتورة الكهرباء على البلدية بنسبة تتراوح ما بين 70 - 80 بالمئة، ما ينعكس ايجابا في تحقيق وفر مالي لصندوق البلدية.
