قال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، اليوم الأحد، إنه ينبغي أن تبلغ أسعار الفائدة في الولايات المتحدة أدنى معدل مقارنة مع دول العالم، وذلك قبيل اجتماع السياسة النقدية لمجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأمريكي) المقرر عقده خلال الأيام المقبلة.

وسئل ترامب عما إذا كان يتوقع أن يرفع مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي أسعار الفائدة يوم الأربعاء، فقال لصحفيين على هامش بطولة أيرلندا المفتوحة للجولف إنه لا علم له بذلك، وأضاف “ينبغي أن يكون سعر الفائدة في البلاد هو الأقل بين دول العالم، بغض النظر عن معادلاتها”.

وأضاف أن الولايات المتحدة تتمتع “بأفضل تصنيف ائتماني في العالم. لنا دور في ثراء الدول الأخرى. يمكننا وقف ذلك في غضون دقيقتين”.
