5 قتلى وعشرات المفقودين جراء حريق عبارة بالفلبين

لقي خمسة أشخاص مصرعهم، وفُقد أكثر من 80 آخرين، اليوم الخميس، جراء اندلاع حريق على عبارة قبالة جزيرة بالاوان غربي الفلبين.

وبحسب بيانات أوردها موقع "مارين ترافيك" الإلكتروني، أعلن خفر السواحل ⁠أنه تم إنقاذ 43 شخصا الليلة الماضية، بعد اندلاع الحريق على متن العبارة (إم.في جون أستر)، على مسافة نحو 2,2 كيلومتر من الساحل.

وتظهر قائمة الركاب أن العبارة كانت تقل 134 شخصا، بينهم ركاب وأفراد من الطاقم، فيما تتواصل عمليات الإنقاذ.

وأظهرت لقطات نشرها خفر السواحل ألسنة اللهب وهي تلتهم ‌أجزاء ⁠من العبارة، فيما ظهرت فرق الإنقاذ وهم يضعون جثث الضحايا في أكياس مخصصة للموتى.
