تراجعت أسعار الذهب الأربعاء وسط رهانات على رفع أسعار الفائدة، غذتها مخاوف من أن يؤدي تصاعد التوترات في الشرق الأوسط إلى زيادة التضخم، فيما تترقب الأسواق بيانات مهمة حول التضخم في الولايات المتحدة هذا الأسبوع.

وانخفض الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.1% إلى 4349.44 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 00:40 بتوقيت غرينتش، فيما تراجعت العقود الآجلة الأميركية للذهب تسليم كانون الأول 1% إلى 4393.30 دولار.

وتترقب الأسواق صدور مؤشر أسعار المنتجين في الولايات المتحدة الخميس، على أن تتبعه بيانات مؤشر أسعار المستهلكين الجمعة، وسط ترقب لمؤشرات بشأن مسار السياسة النقدية الأميركية.
