أدانت الأمم المتحدة اليوم الثلاثاء، الهجمات الحوثية التي استهدفت مواقع متعددة في جنوب المملكة العربية السعودية، وأثرت على البنية التحتية المدنية ومرافق الطاقة.

وأعرب الناطق الرسمي باسم الأمين العام للمنظمة ستيفان دوجاريك، عن قلق بالغ إزاء التقارير التي تفيد بوقوع إصابات في صفوف المدنيين. "نشعر بقلق مماثل إزاء احتدام الاشتباكات العسكرية على جبهات متعددة في اليمن، لاسيما التقارير التي تشير إلى احتمال سقوط ضحايا مدنيين جراء هذا القتال".

ودعت الأمم المتحدة جميع الأطراف إلى ممارسة ضبط النفس والحيلولة دون حدوث مزيد من التصعيد والحرص على تجنيب السكان المدنيين والأعيان المدنية ويلات الصراع.
