توّجت سمو الأميرة آية بنت فيصل، رئيسة الاتحاد الأردني للكرة الطائرة، اليوم الإثنين، المنتخبات الفائزة بالمراكز الثلاثة الأولى في ختام بطولة غرب آسيا الثالثة للكرة الطائرة للسيدات، التي اختُتمت منافساتها في عمّان.

وتُوّج المنتخب اللبناني بلقب البطولة بعد تحقيقه العلامة الكاملة، بفوزه على منتخبات العراق والأردن وقطر.

وحلّ منتخبنا الوطني في المركز الثاني، بعد تحقيقه فوزين على قطر والعراق، فيما جاء المنتخب العراقي ثالثاً بفوز وحيد على قطر، وحلّ المنتخب القطري رابعاً.

وحسم منتخبنا الوطني المركز الثاني والميداليات الفضية بعد فوزه في مباراته الأخيرة على نظيره العراقي بثلاثة أشواط دون مقابل، بواقع 25-16 و25-21 و25-21. واحتفل اللبناني اللقب بعد فوزه في المباراة الختامية على حساب قطر بثلاثة أشواط دون مقابل بواقع 26 -6 و25-18 و25-19.
