أكّد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الخميس، أن الولايات المتحدة تنتج مستويات غير مسبوقة من الذخائر وتخزنها استعدادا لأي طارئ، مشددا على أن البلاد "تنتصر بسهولة في الحرب".

ووصف ترامب، في تصريحات له، الأنباء التي تتحدث عن نقص الذخائر بأنها غير صحيحة بالمطلق، معتبرا أن المؤسسات الإعلامية والأشخاص الذين يروجون لهذه الفكرة "مخطئون بنسبة 100%".

وفي السياق ذاته، أعلن الرئيس الأميركي أن الإدارة ستستأنف قريباً عمليات بيع الذخائر للحلفاء.
