باشرت شركة كهرباء محافظة إربد تنفيذ أعمال الحفر وتمديد الكوابل الأرضية ضمن مشروع تطوير منطقة تل إربد وإنشاء حديقة التل، تمهيدًا للاستغناء الكامل عن الشبكات والخطوط الهوائية واستبدالها بخطوط أرضية حديثة، بما يسهم في إزالة التشوهات البصرية وتحسين المشهد الحضري للموقع.

من جانبه، أكد الناطق الإعلامي باسم بلدية إربد الكبرى، غيث التل، أن هذا المشروع يأتي ضمن خطة شاملة لإعادة تأهيل وتطوير وسط المدينة، مشيرًا إلى أن تحويل شبكة الكهرباء من هوائية إلى أرضية يمثل ركيزة أساسية في المشروع للمحافظة على الطابع الجمالي والتاريخي لمنطقة التل ووسط البلد، وتقديم خدمات بنية تحتية آمنة ومتكاملة للمواطنين والزوار.
