أعلنت الولايات المتحدة الأحد أنها شنت غارات جوية استهدفت منصات إطلاق صواريخ إيرانية على جزيرة صغيرة في مضيق هرمز، في أول هجوم على إيران منذ أواخر شهر تموز/يوليو.

وقال الكابتن المتحدث باسم البحرية الأميركية تيم هوكينز في بيان لوكالة فرانس برس "في وقت سابق اليوم، قصفت القوات الأميركية منصتي إطلاق إيرانيتين في جزيرة لارك. تم رصد قوات تابعة للحرس الثوري الإيراني وهي تستعد لإطلاق صواريخ محملة بألغام بحرية باتجاه مضيق هرمز".
