شهدت أجزاء من وسط اليابان انهيارات أرضية وفيضانات أثر هطول أمطار غزيرة، اليوم الخميس، مع ورود تقارير عديدة عن غرق سيارات ونداءات استغاثة.

وبحسب وكالة الأنباء اليابانية، أصدرت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية اليابانية تحذيرا خاصا من الأمطار الغزيرة لبعض المناطق في محافظتي إيشيكاوا وتوياما، وحذرت السكان بضرورة الإخلاء أو اتخاذ إجراءات فورية لضمان سلامتهم في ظل ظروف تهدد حياتهم.

وصدر التحذير من المستوى الخامس، وهو أعلى مستوى للتحذير من الأمطار الغزيرة، ويشير إلى احتمال وقوع كارثة، ولم ترد أنباء عن وقوع إصابات حتى الآن، وفقا لحكومة محافظة إيشيكاوا.
