رحّبت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بقرار الولايات المتحدة رفع اسم سوريا من قائمة الدول الراعية للإرهاب.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير فؤاد المجالي ترحيب المملكة بالقرار؛ خطوة هامة نحو دعم جهود الجمهورية العربية السورية الشقيقة في إعادة البناء وتعزيز خطوات التعافي وتحقيق تطلعات شعبها بالتنمية والازدهار. كما أكّد تثمين المملكة جهود فخامة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب في اتخاذ القرار.

وجدّد المجالي التأكيد على موقف المملكة الثابت في دعم الشقيقة سوريا في إعادة البناء على الأسس التي تضمن وحدتها وسيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها وسلامة أراضيها ومواطنيها وتحفظ حقوق السوريين كافة.
