حذرت الأمم المتحدة والشركاء العاملين معها في المجال الإنساني من أن العمل الإغاثي في الضفة الغربية يتعرض للتأخير والتقييد بسبب شبكة تضم أكثر من 900 عائق مادي، تشمل نقاط التفتيش والبوابات والحواجز على الطرق وغيرها من القيود.

وقال مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا)، في تقريره ليوم أمس أن هذه العوائق تعرقل وصول المساعدات الإنسانية، وتترك المحتاجين إليها دون ما يكفي من الخدمات والمساعدات.

وحذر المكتب الأممي من أن الجهود الرامية إلى حماية الفلسطينيين غير فعالة بسبب العوائق وعنف المستوطنين، مشيرا الى أن الأوضاع الإنسانية في شمال الضفة الغربية لا تزال بالغة الصعوبة.
