قالت مسؤولة السياسة الخارجية في الاتحاد الأوروبي كايا كالاس، إن الاتحاد يرحب بالإعلان عن اتفاق بشأن النزع الدائم لأسلحة حماس وغيرها من الفصائل المسلحة غير التابعة للدولة، والانسحاب الكامل للقوات الإسرائيلية من قطاع غزة، والانتقال إلى إدارة مدنية في القطاع.

ودعت كالاس جميع الأطراف إلى الموافقة على الاتفاق وتنفيذه من دون تأخير، وتسريع تنفيذ جميع أحكام قرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم 2803 بما يتماشى مع قرارات المجلس ذات الصلة والقانون الدولي.
