ضبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، اليوم الخميس، من خلال إحدى دوريات قوات حرس الحدود التابعة لها، أربع حقائب تحتوي على كميات كبيرة من المواد المخدرة، وذلك أثناء تنفيذ الدورية لعمليات البحث والتفتيش ومسح المنطقة على أثر عملية تهريب سابقه بواسطة طائرات درون.

وجرى التحفظ على المضبوطات وتسليمها إلى الجهات المختصة، لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة حيالها.

وتؤكد القوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي استمرارها في تسخير إمكاناتها وقدراتها كافة لحماية حدود المملكة، والتصدي بكل حزم لمحاولات التهريب والأنشطة التي تستهدف أمن الوطن وسلامة أبنائه.
